Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program

Sweets & Treats is one of two GSWCF-sponsored product programs.

Every fall, Girls Scouts have the opportunity to fund exciting experiences by taking part in the Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program. Girl Scouts reach out to family and friends to take orders for candies, nuts, magazine subscriptions, and more. Orders can be placed in-person or online through each Girl Scout's personalized online storefront. Items arrive just in time to make wonderful holiday gifts!

Why Participate in the Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program?

Girl Scouts learn and practice five skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics, as they earn proceeds for their troop and exciting experiences.

100% of the proceeds stay local to benefit our council. Troops earn 15% on all items sold.

The Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program is an excellent way to earn start up proceeds to fund your troop’s activities and projects throughout the year.

September

Sept. 16: Fall Product Manager Volunteers can access M2 site.

Sept. 23: Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program begins, paper order cards and online. Girls can log in to the M2 online site, create their avatar and launch their online store.

October

Oct. 5: Troop bonus deadline.

Oct. 12: Last day for online girl delivered orders. Last day for caregivers to enter paper order card sales. Last day for Caregivers to enter paper order card sales.

Oct. 13: Troop and Juliette deadline to verify and enter paper order card sales and choose delivery site, date and time of pick-up.

Oct. 13: Troop deadline to select if opting out of rewards and verify bank account information into M2 online platform.

Oct. 14: SU deadline to verify and edit paper orders.

Oct. 19: Last day to order online magazines, BarkBox, Tumblers, and direct shipped nuts and chocolates.

Oct. 20: Final day for girls and troops to choose rewards.

November

Nov. 6–9: Troops pick up nuts and chocolates.

Nov. 20: ACH draft notice sent to troop.

December

Dec. 1: Deadline to submit outstanding caregiver balance paperwork to product program department (must be submitted online).

Dec. 2: Troops ensure all funds are deposited into troop bank account. Juliette deadline for funds deposited into council bank account.

Dec. 10: ACH draft of total amount due.

December-January

Rewards are mailed to service unit fall product manager for distribution. Expecting mid-December delivery of rewards. If rewards are expected later, the product program team will update service unit fall managers.

For Girls and Families toggle arrow

The Sweets & Treats program is the beginning platform of the Girl Scout Entrepreneurial Program. It provides an opportunity to raise proceeds that help fund their troop’s next big adventure.

Girl Scouts can safely participate online by creating their own M2 digital storefront where they can upload photos, videos, and even create their own custom avatar.

Prepare your customer and email list.

Put together a video for your online store front.

Follow the link sent to the email address on file with GSWCF on September 23 to access the M2 website.

Attend Girl Scout Fest on September 26 to learn about the Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program as part of the Product Program Rally.

Girl Scouts have an opportunity to earn a 40” stuffed kangaroo. For each goal completed, girls will receive an entry into a random drawing:

Getting Started:

Register for the 2026-2027 Girl Scout membership year
Complete informational session (select the appropriate session SU or troop)
Coordinate a caregiver meeting and distribute the girl materials
Follow the link sent to your email address to access the M2 system. Log in, complete M2 system training, and set up your account.
Starting September 19, Add or update family email addresses to queue the Parent Adult Email Campaign for your troop; emails will not send until September 23. This email can also be sent at any time during the season.
Encourage your Girl Scouts to attend Girl Scout Fest on September 26 to learn about the Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program as part of the Product Program Rally.

Troop Bonus

Have fun and earn $10 per girl for your troop by having each girl do the following in the M2 system:

Register her account
Sell at least five online items by October 5

Girl Scouts who complete these tasks will also earn the online patch!

Girl Scouts have an opportunity to earn a variety of rewards through the Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program. Rewards earned are based on dollars sold.

The $10 per Girl Scout helps your troop with start-up funds and is deposited directly into your troop’s account by October 30.

Juliettes/Independent Registered Members toggle arrow

A Juliette (independent registered member) is a girl participating in Girl Scouts independently of a troop. Girl Scouts in troops may also participate in the Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program as Juliettes if their troop is not participating or if the troop does not meet troop requirements*; it will not affect their membership status. Contact the product program department at info@gswcf.org for additional information.

* A troop is considered at least 5 girls with 3+ participating and 1+ unrelated. Juliettes earn council credit.

Care to Share toggle arrow

The Care to Share program allows customers to donate nut items to military organizations and local food banks. The donation can be made on the order card or through girl online storefronts. Each Care to Share item is $7. The product program department facilitates delivery of all Care to Share items.

Girls who sell 5 Care to Share items will receive a special patch.

Girls who sell 15 Care to Share items will receive the patch and $10 in Council Dough.

For those customers who may not want to purchase nuts or candy for themselves, Care to Share is a perfect solution that makes an important impact!

Fall Personalized Patch

How Girl Scouts earn a Fall Personalized Patch with her avatar:

Create your avatar in the M2 system
Sends 18+ unique customer emails through the M2 system and use the “Share MY Site” function in the M2 system during the Fall Product Program
Sell $325 of products

*Patches go into production when the girl earns it and normally arrive in 6-8 weeks, mailed directly from vendor using the address entered in the M2 system.

To receive your special Girl Scout Cookie Crossover personalized patch:

Create your avatar in the M2 system
Send 18+ unique customer emails and use the “Share MY Site” function in the M2 system during the Fall Product Program
Sell $325 of products during Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program
Sell 350+ packages of cookies during the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie Program

Do you have first-time sellers this season?

First-time sellers in your troop can learn the ropes of the Sweets & Treats Fall Product Program. This program helps girls set goals, learn about fall products, gain selling tips, and understand how to participate. Girls who complete this program will earn a special Sweet Starters patch.
