This year the Proud Girl Scout Supporter will focus on our recovery from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The recent hurricanes have left a lasting impact on our community, including our cherished camps. Every year, we are proud to provide over 30,000 enriching camp experiences for our Girl Scouts, but this year, these opportunities are threatened.
The devastation from these storms has caused significant damage to our four camps with over 1,000 fallen trees, scattered debris, and damaged buildings. Alongside unexpected insurance deductibles and repairs for uninsured areas, the financial burden has grown, making the support from generous donors like you more crucial than ever.
By choosing to support the Girl Scouts, you are investing in the resilience and future of every Girl Scout in West Central Florida. Your kindness ensures that we can rebuild, recover, and continue to inspire and nurture the next generation of leaders.
