Girl Scouts of West Central Florida is committed to employing individuals who are authorized to work in the United States and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of citizenship or national origin. Drug-Free Workplace toggle arrow

Girl Scouts of West Central Florida is a drug-free workplace. With this policy, Girl Scouts of West Central Florida takes the position of Zero Tolerance of substance abuse. Zero Tolerance means immediate termination of an employee found to be in violation of this drug-free workplace policy. We understand employees and applicants under a physician’s care may be required to use prescription drugs; however, illegal use of prescribed medications is also substance abuse and will be dealt with in the same manner as the abuse of illegal substances. The ultimate goal of this policy is to balance our respect for individual privacy with our need to keep a safe, productive, drug-free environment.

Level 2 Background Screening toggle arrow

A Level 2 background screening is a comprehensive review conducted through fingerprinting and national/state law enforcement databases. It is designed to ensure that individuals working with our organization meet the standards required for positions of trust, particularly those involving youth and sensitive information. This screening is conducted in accordance with Florida law and includes checks for disqualifying offenses as outlined in state statutes.
