Prerequisite: Small Craft Safety Canoe/Kayak/SUP Training
Canoe down the Lower Little Manatee River with us! This
adult only trip is for those with Small Craft Safety, offering a
chance to spot wildlife and enjoy a fun little river adventure. It may
even inspire you to complete River 1 - or join with someone who has -
to share the experience with girls.
Watercraft rentals
will be arranged directly with the Canoe Outpost on the morning of the
trip. The cost of your registration will be refunded after attending
the event.

Learning Objectives:
- Understand the training requirements to take girls on Class 1
rivers in Florida
- Recognize the positive experiences that come
from canoeing/kayaking on rivers
- Summarize basics of canoeing
and kayaking
Confirmation Email:
Will be sent out two weeks before the event start date.
Important: The confirmation email will includes required
prework, packing lists, trainer contact information and other
important details need to prepare for the day of the training.
Refund/Cancellation Guidelines:
* All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via
email and sent directly to info@gswcf.org
* There will be no
refunds or transfers for no-shows. Please refer to the training
description for information regarding potential no-show fees.
*
Refund requests received on or after 4/26/2026 will
not be eligible for a refund, except in extenuating circumstances on a
case-by-case request.
