Get ready for Girl Scout Fest 2026, our biggest event of the year for girls of all ages, their families, and future changemakers across West Central Florida!
This year's theme, Guardians of the Green, celebrates the power of Girl Scouts to protect our planet, strengthen their communities, and make a difference through leadership and action. Girls of all ages will enjoy hands-on activities, badge-earning opportunities, outdoor adventures, interactive exhibits, community partners, and exciting experiences designed to inspire environmental stewardship and leadership.
New this year: participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero or create their own Guardians of the Green superhero costume. Whether you arrive as a well-known hero or design your own eco-powered character, we can't wait to see your creativity and Girl Scout spirit on display!

Girl Leadership Award Opportunities
Discover how Girl Scouts are making an impact in their communities through leadership and service. Meet our high award girls, hear their inspiring stories, and learn more about the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards.
Older Girl Scout facilitators are invited to lead badge or patch workshops during the event and can earn hours toward service bars and leadership awards.

Superhero Costume & Prop Guidelines
As part of our Guardians of the Green theme, participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero or create their own eco-inspired hero look! To keep the event safe and fun for all ages, please follow these guidelines:
Allowed Props
Soft foam, fabric, or cardboard superhero accessories (capes, masks, shields, emblems)
Lightweight DIY costumes and "hero gear" made from safe materials
Plush or stuffed sidekicks and accessories
Face paint and washable makeup
Paper or lightweight decorative items that are easy to carry and non-hazardous
🚫 Not Allowed Props
Items that resemble real or realistic weapons of any kind
Metal, wooden, sharp, or heavy objects
Projectile or throwable items
Large, rigid, or oversized props that may block walkways or impact visibility
Pyrotechnics, fire, smoke effects, or anything flammable
Face coverings
Safety First
All costumes and props must be safe for active participation and movement throughout the event. Staff reserves the right to request adjustments or prohibit any item deemed unsafe, dangerous, or disruptive. If a prohibited item cannot be returned to a vehicle, it may be discarded prior to event entry.
