What are three things you have learned from being a troop leader?
1. The best formed plans are always subject to change; especially if you are following the girl-led process.
2. Your girls will remember the time you made for them, not the plans that didn’t work out as planned.
3. Girls of all ages can do amazing things when given the space and confidence needed.
What are your two favorite things you are looking forward to with your troop?
1. Our graduation trip to be determined next year!
2. Watching many of these girls achieve Gold!
What is one of your favorite Girl Scout memories?
I will always treasure our time at camp. I will never forget one of our first weekends at Camp Wai Lani when they were younger when we were visited by a flying squirrel in one of the older cabins overnight. The squeals and laughter still echo in my memories.

What are three things you have learned from being a troop leader?
I've learned to do more outside of my comfort zone and to learn alongside the girls.
I've learned how much stronger the troop can be with the community we've built with the leaders, caregivers and girls working together.
I've learned the importance of celebrating smalls wins as much as big achievements.
What are your two favorite things you are looking forward to with your troop?
We are looking forward to our service unit's encampment.
I am also looking forward to going out on our troop's first tent camping adventure together.
What is one of your favorite Girl Scout memories?
Camping will always be one of my favorite Girl Scout memories. From volunteering in my daughters’ first troop to leading at last year’s encampment, watching the girls have fun outside and face their fears has been truly inspiring.
Anything else you want us to know?
This troop’s success is truly a team effort, and I’m grateful for the support and guidance of my dedicated leader team and service unit.

What are three things you have learned from being a troop leader?
I’ve learned to be more creative, to really be intentional with what I am doing with my girls and how to plan some really fun adventures!
What are your two favorite things you are looking forward to with your troop?
Going on more trips and adventures and working more local charities! Encampment is a huge highlight for me and my girls.
What is one of your favorite Girl Scout memories?
As a child going to Girl Scout Camp! As a leader, watching my girls come together, try new things and seeing them support each other. Also, getting to spend time with my daughter through all of this.
Anything else you want us to know?
Going through Girl Scouts with my own daughter has been a gift for both of us and I am grateful all of the girls have continued all the way through to their senior year.
