Girl Scouts & Grubhub: A New Way to Satisfy Your Girl Scout Cookie Cravings

We are very excited about a national partnership between Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and Grubhub food delivery. Our council will be offering limited opportunities for girls to facilitate delivery of Girl Scout Cookies during the 2021 Girl Scout Cookie Program and giving them a chance to further their entrepreneurial skills by learning another facet of e-commerce.

Dates, Times, and Locations

Because Girl Scouts will be the ones accepting, packing, and handing off orders to Grubhub delivery drivers, our Grubhub opportunities in west central Florida will only be available certain dates and times starting Feb. 6.

The following locations will be the pick-up spot for Grubhub drivers. Drivers will only be able to make deliveries to places within a 20-minute radius of these pick-up locations.

  • Girl Scout Leadership Center (Tampa, FL)
    Monday - Saturday
  • Camp Dorothy Thomas (Riverview, FL)
    Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
  • Camp Wai Lani (Palm Harbor, FL)
    Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday
  • Camp Wildwood (Wildwood, FL)
  • Paddock Mall (Ocala, FL)
Saturday and Sunday (starting Feb. 20)

How do I get my Girl Scout involved?

As a GSUSA requirement, only Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors are eligible to sell cookies through the Grubhub partnership. Troops/Juliette families will be able to select a Grubhub “booth” location through the e-Budde (Little Brownie Baker’s software) Booth Scheduler for the opportunity to facilitate the cookie fulfillment process at one of the designated pick-up locations.

The Grubhub partnership is a council-level cookie booth opportunity. Girl Scouts will receive the troop proceeds, but do not have to supply their own cookies. Just like traditional cookie booths, every Grubhub opportunity will need to have two, unrelated adults present (one of the adults at each location will be a GSWCF staff member). Prior to participating, the adult volunteer and girls will need to watch a short training video (look for the link coming soon.) Girls will also need to undergo a short training that can be completed when girls arrive at the Grubhub pick-up locations.
