Summer Camp is Coming!

Grab your swimsuit, cowgirl boots, and sunscreen! Registration for 2020 Girl Scout Summer Camp opens on Dec. 2 with special Cyber Monday and Early Bird offers. There are so many incredible experiences availble this summer, we just can't wait for you to try them all! The 2020 Summer Camp Guide is availble now, but we thought we'd share some of the most exciting things happening this summer with you.

Camp Traditions

Again this year, we'll be offering Day Camps, Half- and Full-Week Overnight Camps, Specialty Camps, and Teen Leadership Camps at Camp Wai Lani and Camp Wildwood. Spend your summer jumping off the diving board, hitting bullseyes, making friends, trying new things, singing songs around the campfire, and more. We design each year’s camp sessions and activities with feedback from our campers and staff, keeping in mind what they loved the most, or asked to see in the future, so this summer is going to be better than ever.

What's New

This summer we're offering so many new camp sessions, even our seasoned camp pros can find something new to try!

STEM Day Camp at Camp Dorothy Thomas has expanded to all eight weeks of summer. With camps about animals, what it's like having a career in the medical industry, forensics, music, global adventure, and coding, there are plenty of ways to spark your curiosity!

We've added new specialty camps at Camp Wildwood. Earn badges, try two weeks of mounted archery, and perfect your outdoor cooking skills while you explore hundreds of acres of old growth forest.

At Camp Wai Lani, there's a new Day Camp add-on for half-week campers. Day campers can grow their comfort with overnight camp experiences by adding on a Thursday night sleepover to their registration. Plus, girls can dip their toes into the world of marine biology with our new Marine Science Specialty Camp.

We also have two new travel camp options this year, Road Trippin' to St. Augustine and Cruisin' to Chinoteague.  In Road Trippin' to St. Augustine, girls entering grades 5 - 12 in the fall will head to Florida’s east coast to explore St. Augustine’s rich history and attractions. In Crusin' to Chinoteague, Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors (entering grades 9 - 12) will travel to Chincoteague Island, Virginia to watch the famous Pony Swim and will experience carnivals, ghost tours, and the Girl Scout Birthplace along the way.

Deals! Deals! Deals!

It's important to us that every girl is able to experience all that Girl Scout Summer Camp has to offer, so in addition to the camperships we offer every year, we also have several specials available to those who register.

If you register on Cyber Monday, Dec. 2, you'll receive our special, limited-edition camp t-shirt and sunglasses![1] PLUS, you’ll save $30 on any full- or two-week overnight camp with our Early Bird discount (available until Feb. 15). Not sure yet which session she wants to attend? You can still lock in the Cyber Monday Special and Early Bird discount by purchasing a camp gift certificate [2] that she can apply to the session of her choice[3] at a later date.

Adventures are meant to be shared...

Bring a friend to Girl Scout Summer Camp for her first time as your Bunk Buddy[4] and you’ll both receive a $5 Trading Post Gift Certificate plus you’ll get a cool, new patch! Remember, your friend does not have to be a Girl Scout! Non-members simply pay a $25 membership fee in addition to the camp fee to become a registered 2019-20 Girl Scout member.

We don't know about you, but we can't wait for another summer of adventure at Girl Scout Camp!
