Girl Scouts of West Central Florida is hosting its annual MediaGirlz Training and Audition on Sept. 14 at 1 p.m.. The MediaGirlz are a team comprised of Girl Scout Juniors through Ambassadors that represent the council during media interviews and community events. They are often featured in marketing materials and on social media. These girls develop personal and social skills by participating in opportunities throughout the year.

The Training and Audition will include an overview of public relations, activities to get to know the girls, and media training from an industry expert (the dos and don’ts of working with the media and how to tell your story). The day will conclude with an on-camera mock interview audition for a chance to be on the 2019-2020 MediaGirlz team.

Registration is required to attend. After you have registered, you will receive a follow up email from the GSWCF Marketing Team, with the next steps in order to participate in the audition process.

MediaGirlz live in the spotlight. They ooze courage, confidence, and character. They are total go-getters, innovators, risk-takers and leaders! They’re Girl Scouts through and through—and they’re not afraid to show it!
