Spend your days enjoying a little bit of Florida paradise at Camp Wai Lani. With easy access to the bay, girls can choose from canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding while exploring the unique marine environment in the water, or at our marine lab. Plus, activites like snorkeling, archery, sewing, arts & crafts, and upgrades including our completely remodeled swimming pool and brand new challenge course make this an action-packed adventure! Overnight campers will enjoy dinnertime fun, evening programs, and cabin life. For those staying a full week, every Friday night brings our fabulous all-camp luau celebration with music, dancing, traditional luau-inspired food, and entertainment at our popular “Campitheater” stage.

Dig in and get your hands dirty as you uncover the science in the Camp Wai Lani garden. You’ll learn about the flower life cycle, how bugs can take your garden from blah to ta-dah, and how to make your garden even greener by using sustainable practices. Juniors will earn their Flowers and Gardner Badge, Brownies will earn their Bugs Badge, and Daisies will earn their Clover and Rosie Petals.

July 23-27: Phun with Physics, For girls entering grades 1-6, $225/girl

Whether you come for our traditional camp experience or choose one of our specialty horse camp sessions you are in for a wild experience! And it’s not all horseplay, there’s so much more to explore at Wildwood. Our largest camp is the perfect setting to get outdoors in a nurturing atmosphere so you can grow and learn new things about yourself and others. Enjoy archery, visits to our renowned nature center, hiking, making frontier crafts, swimming, campfires, and more. Friday ends the week with a celebration at our special camp-wide Barn Bash!

Western Riding: Learn to care for and ride your horse like a cowgirl! You’ll learn about roping and how to work with your horse as a team to complete a fun cowgirl roundup course!

For beginning riders entering grades 3 — 6
Western riding: This is the perfect camp for beginners who want to learn the basics of horsemanship and riding, and have fun doing it! You’ll get to play games on and off your horse, groom, and even paint your horse!

June 24 - 30, Freedom Riders
For intermediate riders entering grades 6 — 12
Bareback riding: Ever tried riding without a saddle? Learn how to properly sit, play games, and maybe even trot as you experience the freedom of bareback riding. Plus, you’ll have the chance to try equestrian yoga, and lunging. 

July 1 - 7, Turn and Burn
For advanced riders entering grades 7 — 12
Western riding: Have you ever watched a rodeo? Join us to practice your barrel or pole bending skills during this fun week of horse camp! You’ll also get to work with the girls in your group to complete a fun rodeo-themed course at the end of the week!

July 8 - 14, Giddy Up

Western riding: Learn how to groom and saddle, as well as ride and steer your horse all by yourself! Work toward fun activities like a trail ride and arena games.

Western or English riding: Interested in a career with horses? This week is for you! When you’re not riding, you’ll hear from of a variety of guest speakers in the equine science field. A veterinarian and a blacksmith are just two of the people you’ll have the chance to meet and ask all of your questions.

July 22 - 28, Homestead Overnight
For intermediate riders entering grades 6 — 12
Western or English riding: Set out to camp under the stars with the horses at Camp Wildwood. You’ll learn camping skills, first aid, and horse care in the wild.

We'll bring you into the world of creators,  innovators, scientists, engineers, naturalists, astronomers, physicists and so much more. Plus, cool field trips every Friday, special guests and more.

June 11-15: Wild About Animals, girls entering 1st-3rd grade, $225/girl
Explore animals from the regions of the world, from the deepest ocean to the hottest dessert, from the tallest mountains to the wettest marsh! We’ll be visited by special guests throughout the week and end camp with an exciting field trip! Brownies will work on their Bugs Badge.

June 18-22: Pigment of Imagination, girls entering 1st-3rd grade, $225/girl
Come and join us as we explore color, light, and sound through arts, crafts, and so much more! Brownies will work on their Painter Badge and Daisies will work on their Gerri Petal. You’ll end the week with a fun field trip. 

June 25-29: Make It Green, Make It Clean, girls entering 4th-6th grades, $225/girl
Learn all about the environment and clean energy! Experience what it’s like to be an environmental engineer as you discover how to make sustainable homes, recycled clothing, and design an environmentally friendly future. Juniors will work on their Flower Badge and Cadettes will work on their Trees Badge. You’ll end the week with a fun field trip. 

July 9-13: Power It Up powered by Jabil, girls entering 4th-8th grade , $225/girl
Engage with STEM professionals from Jabil each day as you invigorate your problem solving side in this project based camp. You’ll become an electrical engineer, explore how optics have revolutionized the world of healthcare, clear the air with clean energy solutions, and step up to become the future of engineering. You’ll end your week with a behind the scenes look at Jabil’s corporate headquarters.

July 16-21: It's Just A Phase, girls entering 4th-8th grade , $275/girl
Includes an Overnight field trip at the end of the week! Dip your toes into each of the components of STEM. Spend a day each exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. You’ll get a taste of what it’s like to have a career in each of these fields and find your STEM passion.  Experience Wild Caving at Brick City Adventure Park and an overnight field trip to Camp Wildwood. Pick up on Saturday, July 21 is at 11 a.m. at The Girl Scout Leadership Center

Florida Waterways Explorer

Join us for a week of day trips out to the many exciting destinations in north central Florida where girls can get their feet wet! You’ll spend nights and some days at Camp Wildwood enjoying traditional camp activities like archery and swimming, while preparing for day trips later in the week where you’ll swim in springs, take airboat rides, kayak, and go on river safaris. When the week is all said and done, you’ll get to join in on a long-standing Camp Wildwood tradition—our Barn Bash! 

Ocala National Forest Expedition

July 22 - 28, girls entering grades 7 — 12, $600/girl

Have you ever wanted to explore one of Florida’s three National Forests? Come with us! You’ll begin the week at Camp Wildwood preparing for your trip, while enjoying traditional camp activities like archery and swimming . Learn how to pack for backpacking trips, and help prepare the food you’ll take to your campsite in Ocala National Forest. You’ll see unique habitats on hikes and even get to visit Juniper Springs Recreation Area, the crown jewel of Civilian Conservations Corps recreation construction in Ocala National Forest.

10-DAY CAMP! North Carolina Mountain Adventure

July 25 - Aug. 4, girls entering grades 9 — 12, $800/girl
Check in: Wednesday, 3 p.m., Check out: Saturday, 10 a.m. (Camp Wildwood)
Are you ready for an adventure of lifetime? Join us as we explore the mountains of North Carolina. The adventure begins at Camp Wildwood with team building activities and preparation for your trip. You’ll also take part in traditional camp activities like archery, swimming, and crafts. Then you’ll hit the road and head to the mountains for backpacking, tent camping, and rafting or canoeing (weather permitting) on one of North Carolina’s many rivers. We’ll return to Camp Wildwood in time for our end of summer Barn Bash!
