Outdoor Facilitators

Outdoor Facilitators

Outdoor facilitators work at our Girl Scout camp properties teaching environmental awareness, conservation and a variety of outdoor skills. Outdoor facilitators hold national certifications such as American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Small Craft Safety, and USA Archery Level 1, as well as have special training in outdoor education.

Want to get out to camp and learn some new skills for the day? Just give one of our outdoor faciliators a call! They can help take your troop camping trip or community encampment to the next level, too!

Below you will find faciliator lists for a variety of outdoor activities. All faciliators are current members of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida, and are background screened.

The troop or group is responsible for contacting a facilitator to discuss logistics and coordinate the activity. You can reserve an activity area at our camp properties by visiting our Camp Reservation Site.

Having trouble finding a Facilitator?
You can request GSWCF Staff Facilitators to run programs like Archery, Marine Lab, Nature Center, and Homestead with your troop. We can even facilitate programs featured in the Program Events and Family Guide.

Complete this form to request a staff-facilitated program after you’ve reserved the program area through our reservation system. This form is required in order to reserve the Homestead program area at Camp Wildwood.

Interested in getting certification or taking classes to learn more about specific skills to help your troop do more?                                   Visit our Adult Training page.

Want to become a Facilitator for groups and troops? Fill out this form, and our Camping Services Manager will reach out to you with additional details.
