In 2012, Girl Scouts of West Central Florida invested in a new office space that will serve our girls’ and volunteers’ needs for years to come. The new building has been named the Leadership Center because girl leadership begins in Girl Scouts.
We began a capital campaign to renovate the ground floor of the newly purchased building to provide a place that will truly support the very best Girl Scout leadership experience for girls in our council. Thanks to lead gifts from Publix Super Markets Charities, naming the Healthy Living and Community Program areas; and Mimi and Marion Rich, who provided funds to name the adult volunteer Resource Center, the campaign is well under way.
