Become a Volunteer

Ready to begin your Girl Scout journey?

Just follow these simple steps to become a Girl Scout volunteer:

1. Review the different ways to be a Girl Scout volunteer. If you are not sure which volunteer position suits you best or if you have questions, please contact Kristie Wiley: kwiley@gswcf.org, or (813) 262-1765.

2. Complete a volunteer application/criminal history screening. You will need to provide three personal references, including their name, email address and phone number.

3. Once your application and criminal history screening have been processed (about two weeks), you will receive a volunteer eligibility "blue card." You will also be contacted to discuss your volunteer interests/placement.

4. Register for membership online.

5. Complete training sessions for new volunteers:
