Congratulations to Whitney McFee, our 2010 Women of Distinction Girl Scout Speaker! Whitney is a Girl Scout Ambassador in the 12th grade at Clearwater High School.

Girl Speaker Essay Contest Rules:

Essay Topic: “What does being a Woman of Distinction mean to you?”

Girls will write in 500 words or less about the topic. Does not have to be specific to Girl Scouting, but must include girl’s Girl Scout story.

Eligibility – Girls 12 years old and older

The Women of Distinction Committee will determine the winning essay
-
Contest will run Jan. 1 through Monday, Feb. 15
-
The winner must read about their essay at the Women of Distinction Luncheon on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa

Parent(s) must sign photo release and/or press release should we decide to publish a press release about the essay winner.

Submit essays in writing to kchavez@gswcf.org no later than
Feb. 15.
