Are you getting used to your Area Association and how it fits into the governance of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida? You have one more opportunity to meet with your area at the Area Association meetings on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008.

We’ll be bringing you the latest news of how our Council is progressing…establishing policies (thanks for the input!)…preparing for National Council Session (we’ll have 19 delegates!)…getting ready for our first Annual Meeting (on April 26).

Below you’ll see the schedule and location of the meetings. Keep in mind – and this is important – you can attend any location that is convenient for you, even if it’s not your regular area. All meetings are held at the same time, and each has the same agenda.

And remember – Area Association meetings aren’t just for delegates and alternate delegates. Certainly they play a large role and it’s their responsibility to attend. But Area Association meetings are for all registered Girl Scouts age 14 and older. So if that’s you, we want to see you there!
