Girl Scout volunteers bring special talents and expertise that enrich the Girl Scout program for girls.

Flexibility is the key for Girl Scout volunteers. Whether you have an hour, a day, a weekend or more, the energy you share with Girl Scouts will instill in girls confidence that will last a lifetime. We’re looking for volunteers who represent the diversity of the world we live in – men as well as women, senior citizens as well as younger adults, people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds and, of course, our treasured alumnae. As a Girl Scout volunteer you will share in the fun and excitement as girls experience new challenges. The girls and the community will benefit as you help girls build esteem and decision making skills. Join Girl Scouts today!

How to help

There are many volunteer opportunities available to fit any schedule. Some are Troop Leaders and work directly with girls while others choose to work with adults on task groups or committees. Support and training is provided when necessary and our council website is available 24/7. Whether you volunteer for one hour or one year, you’ll have fun and feel great knowing that you have helped build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
