Over the course of the next year, Girl Scouts of West Central Florida will develop outcome indicators and tools by which we will measure these indicators.
You may be asking yourself, “What are outcome measures?” “What are indicators?”
Essentially, we will be working to develop tools to prove what we know: Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s goals and outcome indicators will support the 15 GSUSA Discover, Connect and Take Action outcomes.
As a reminder, the GSUSA short-term and intermediate outcomes are as follows:
Discover
- Girls develop a strong sense of self
- Girls develop positive values
- Girls gain practical skills
- Girls seek challenges in the world
- Girls develop critical thinking
Connect
- Girls develop healthy relationships
- Girls promote cooperation and team building
- Girls can resolve conflict
- Girls advance diversity in a multicultural world
- Girls feel connected to their communities, locally and globally
Take Action

- Girls are resourceful problem solvers
- Girls advocate for themselves and others, locally and globally
