Our annual Fall Product Sale Program is sponsored by Reader’s Digest and Ashdon Farms. The Fall Product Sale Program is a wonderful money-earning activity for the troops and for Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.
The Fall Product Sale Program enables girls to:
- Discover ways to investigate more about themselves and their values
- Connect with others in cooperative learning
- Take action to make a difference in their communities

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Fall Product Sale Program!
Participating in the Fall Product Sale program is an easy, fun way for your troop to earn money. Girls can involve family and friends who live outside of the council area.
Meet Ashlee (Troop 599, Shifting Sands Service Unit, Pinellas County) who sold more than 233 QSP/Nut products and was our Top Seller for 2008. Be the 2009 Top Seller and you’ll see your picture on next year’s order card and publications!
The 2009 Fall Product Sale program runs Sept. 11 through Oct. 11. This year girls will “Unlock the Mysteries” of day-to-day life. Girls will work as a team to investigate the QSP and Nut products, learn what their favorites are, and share the information with customers. Girls will be challenged to ask questions, make decisions and choices, and plan and solve problems together.
From each QSP magazine order sold, 45 percent of the proceeds support Girl Scouting in Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sumter counties. Of that amount, troops receive 10 percent of each order to support their activities. The troop also earns $2 for each coupon booklet turned in with at least 10 names filled in.
From each Ashdon Farms nut product sold, troops keep $1 to use for troop programs.
The council uses its portion of the proceeds to provide quality training experiences and materials for volunteer and staff leadership; to maintain and improve five camp properties, the Tampa Service Center and two branch offices provide outdoor equipment for troop activities and to help pay for the cost of program experiences and supplies for more than 30,000 girls in our eight-county area.
