Currently Registered Girl Scouts: Why Renew Early?

If you renew your membership by June 30, 2008, you will receive a patch to recognize your commitment to membership! (Patches will be ordered after June 30th and distributed at Service Unit meetings).

What are the benefits of early membership renewal?

• girls who may be undecided may choose to return if their membership has already been renewed (remember that membership fees are something we encourage troops to include in their budgets), or will still be kept ‘in the loop’ with mailings and communications if they choose not to return to a troop meeting way of participation;
• volunteer advisors can complete the paperwork process in the spring, rather than the all-too-busy fall months
• organizers and service teams have rosters early, and can plan their work more effectively
• members can be assured of uninterrupted membership in the organization by being encouraged to renew well before the expiration date of October 1, 2008
