Make the
Journeys Work For Your Troop!
Remember that the Journeys are program materials that are very
adaptable to your own group! If your Daisies aren’t into growing
flowers, try vegetables! Brownies don’t like to write? Try acting
out what they have learned in a skit. You know your girls the best –
help them to learn in the best way for them.
We have had leaders adapt the Journeys specifically for their groups. The girls got on board and were ready to take that Journey! Remember, too, that you can detour from your Journey as much as the girls like to work on badges, go camping, spend time on product sales, etc. The new Journeys series It’s Your Planet – Love It! is in stores now.
Uniform Sale
This year our Uniform Sale will be Wednesday, Sept. 30; Thursday,
Oct. 1, and Saturday, Oct. 3 at all three Girl Scout Store locations
in Lakeland, Ocala and Tampa. Receive 10% off official uniform
