It’s Election Time!
Service unit managers and area association chairs will receive their
2009-2010 delegate election packets at Membership Kick-Off on Aug.
1, or immediately thereafter in the mail. Service units are
encouraged to hold elections as early as possible, with a goal of
having those rosters done by September. Rosters must be in to the
Tampa Service Center (attn: Kathy Sandy, executive assistant) by
Monday, Oct. 12 in order to get all your delegates on the books in
time for the October area association meetings.

If you belong to one of those great service units, appreciate the
need for strong governance, and are an adult volunteer or a girl
member age 14 or above – you could be an area association
chair! Area J is looking for someone who wants to help influence the
policy of our council, who can chair an area association meeting (we
provide all the materials) and who wants to be active at the Annual
Meeting. If you think you might be interested in being the area

Area Association Meetings – Fall 2009
Plan now to attend an area association meeting during the last week
of October. We’re offering several different days and locations, and
if you can’t make your own area’s meeting, you can attend whichever
meeting suits your calendar and commuting demands. We’re confirming
the locations right now, but here’s the basic info for the October
meetings:

Area B Thursday, Oct. 29, 7 p.m. Holiday
Area C Thursday, Oct. 29, 7 p.m. Largo
Area D Wednesday, Oct. 28, 7 p.m. Pinellas Park
Area E Wednesday, Oct. 28, 7 p.m. Tampa Service Center
