VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT

Revised Resource Packet Now Available

Early Registration Packets
It’s nearly springtime…what a great time to renew your membership early for the 2009-2010 membership year! In response to the input you shared at the 2008 Annual Meeting, this year’s Early Registration packets will include pre-printed forms for every returning member who was registered by December 2008 (blank forms will be provided for more recently-registered members), and will be distributed at service unit meetings in late March and early April.

Remember, annual membership registration fees are an appropriate use of troop funds, and that girls are encouraged to include them in their troops’ budgets.

Girls who re-register between April 1 and June 1 will receive a free patch!

COUNCIL ENTERPRISE SYSTEM (CES) – Personify…….What is it?
CES (Council Enterprise System) is a business platform that will allow full integration of work processes and information across the entire council. The solution is feature rich with online capability via the Internet and built with the future in mind.

Personify is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that has been configured by GSUSA and councils for Girl Scout use. The system also serves as an Accounts Receivable system, tracking financial transactions related to membership, program and training registrations, volunteer management, and other functions. Personify goes beyond any membership system offered by GSUSA, and provides a robust platform for viewing a comprehensive 360 degree view of our members to help us serve them better.
GSWCF’s implementation of Personify began on Jan. 12, 2009.
Included in Release 1: Membership Registration
Future releases will include: Program/Camp Registration, Volunteer Management, Marketing and Communications, Financial Management, Integration with Fund Development, Integration with Financial Systems and Integration with Point of Sale.

Stay tuned for more updates on future releases!
