Cookie Booths Everywhere!
Cookie booth time is when Girl Scouts are the most visible in our
communities and have the opportunity to share Girl Scouting with the
public. Girls can wear their uniforms proudly and speak about the
badges they have earned, activities they have participated in and
the future programs that are possible because of the cookie program.
They can also tell their customer about the Cookies From Home Gift
of Caring Community Service Project. Customers at the booths can
contribute to this worthwhile cause and help the troops with their
planned activities.
Cookies In the Media
Since the start of the Cookie Program, we’ve received numerous
mentions in our local media. In addition, on Monday, Feb. 23, CEO
Jody Johnston appeared with Gayle Guyardo on “News Channel 8 Today”
on the Tampa NBC station, and both Jody and girl board member Lauren
Mayor appeared on ABC’s “Positively Tampa Bay” on Wednesday, Feb.
25. Click

Cookie Booth Locator!
The new Cookie
Booth Locator is up and running on our website! Each service
unit’s cookie booths can be located on this link, and customers
looking for cookies can enter their zip codes and find cookie booths
in their area within seconds. We will also have billboards this year
on major roads that will guide customers to the Cookie Booth
Locator.

Cookie Deposits
Cookie deposits for money owed to the council should be made with
the pre-encoded deposit slips for Regions or Wachovia banks only.
The product sales department cannot identify the blank deposit slips
you pick up at the bank that are made without using the pre-encoded
deposit slips. Troops that do not have pre-encoded deposit slips
should contact the service unit cookie program manager immediately
or the product sales department at
dharris@gswcf.org or
jhall@gswcf.org.
Cookie Warehouses
Troop cookie program managers can pick up additional cookies at the
cookie warehouses listed in the troop cookie manager’s manual using
the Warehouse Authorization Card only. The warehouse personnel will
not distribute cookies without this authorization card. Please
contact your service unit cookie program manager for this card. The
warehouse addresses and phone numbers are located in the troop
cookie program manager’s manual on pages 22 and 23.
Note: The Brandon warehouse address is correct but the map is
incorrect; the address for Blocker Allied should be 2300 31st Street
North. Morris Commercial warehouse hours for Monday, Wednesday and
Friday are noon – 6 p.m. Please make these changes in your manual.
If you have questions concerning the Cookie Program, please contact the director of product sales.
