Camping and Event Coordinators

Camping is an essential part of the Girl Scout experience, and events organized outside of the council-level provide a fun bonding opportunity for your service unit! Camping & Event Coordinators make the outdoor (or maybe indoor) magic happen! They do this by:

Establishing, planning and implementing activities, camping and event opportunities to girls and adults in the service unit

Organize and utilize a team of additional volunteers to fully support these events

Ensure these events/camping are in accordance with the training, processes and safety recommendations in Volunteer Essentials and Safety Activity Checkpoints
