Seniors will explore all about food: how and where it’s grown, harvested, processed, distributed, and consumed, and why it matters. Seniors share their knowledge and host a farmers market, inspire others to eat locally, and plan a community vegetable garden.

Each registered girl will receive a “Sow What? Journey book.

Friday dinner will be on your own. Breakfast, Lunch, dinner and snacks on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday will be included.

Participants should bring clothes for the weekend, bug spray, sunscreen, closed toed shoes and re-usable water bottle.

We will provide a more complete packing list with confirmation email.

Adults must register for this event if they will be attending.

A maximum of two adults may register per troop. Adult chaperones are expected to maintain the girl-adult safety ratios (as described in Safety Activity Checkpoints) and supervise girls in their camp units. Adults will be assigned a unit to supervise and may also be asked to assist with activities or other tasks as needed. While we will do our best to keep troops/groups together, the girls in your unit may not necessarily be from your own troop.
Juliette Girl Scouts or girls who are not attending with a troop will be provided chaperones/adult supervision. Leaders who register for this event as a troop activity must adhere to only bringing enough adults to provide girl/adult safety ratio as described in Volunteer Essentials.
