Canoe / Kayak Program

Explore the waters of camp by canoe or kayak! Girls will learn canoeing/ kayaking skills including strokes, maneuvering and safety. Learn to become a paddle master while having fun out on the water.

Program is available at Camp Scoutcrest (lake), Camp Wai Lani canoes only (shallow shore waters), and Camp Indian Echo canoes only (lake).

Kiln Program

Want to play with clay? Create a unique work of art to be fired in the camp kilns! All girls can learn a new skill with projects geared specifically towards age and skill level. Projects can include hand building, pouring molds, bisque ware, painting & glazing.

Program is available at Camp Dorothy Thomas (Riverview) and Camp Wai Lani (Palm Harbor).

Challenge Course

The challenge course at Camp Dorothy Thomas (Riverview) is an adventure recreation program that offers girls the opportunity to participate in a series of activities involving mental, physical and emotional risk-taking. The course features low teambuilding elements, wall climbing, rappelling, a zip line and a giant swing.

Swimming Program

Ready to make a splash! Jump in to one of our pools or lakes. Swimming is great for fun, fitness and even teambuilding.

Program is available at Camp Dorothy Thomas (pool), Camp Indian Echo (lake), Camp Scoutcrest (lake), Camp Wildwood (pool), and Camp Wai Lani (pool).

Adult Volunteers
Archery Program 

Be on target and learn basic archery skills from signals to shooting a bulls-eye – you’ll definitely make your mark.

Program is available at Camp Dorothy Thomas (Riverview), Camp Indian Echo (Hudson), Camp Scoutcrest (Odessa), Camp Wai Lani (Palm Harbor) and Camp Wildwood (Wildwood).

Program options and costs vary. Activity dates do not have to be coordinated with camping dates; however, please allow three to four weeks of advance planning.
