The council has five camp properties and the Plant City Troop House, providing many opportunities for resident and day camping as well as other programs.

Two Popular Properties Reopening
Two popular Girl Scouts of West Central Florida properties are scheduled to reopen in May: the Greenwood Challenge Course at Camp Wildwood, and the ski slope at Camp Dorothy Thomas. Both have undergone renovations. If you are interested in scheduling a program at either of these properties, contact High Adventure Program Manager Charlie Waters: cwaters@gswcf.org.
To celebrate the reopenings, the following programs are offered.
Girl Scout Camps
A summer camp brochure is distributed in the spring with information on programs, dates, locations and age requirements. Whether your daughter is interested in horseback riding, sailing or dramatic arts, there is a place for her at a camp!
Conference Centers
The Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s meeting facilities offer one-on-one personal attention to meet the needs of your group. Recognizing that every group is unique, our staff provides expert, individualized service to help make your meetings or events overwhelming successes. Our conference centers provide convenient locations for business travelers as well as local companies in need of meeting rooms or computer training space.
Challenge Course
The Challenge Course is an adventure recreation program that offers girls and adults the opportunity to participate in a series of activities involving mental, physical and emotional risk-taking. The course features wall climbing, rappelling, a zip line and a giant swing.
