Kiln Certification – Camp Dorothy Thomas

Learn the stages of ceramics from green ware to glazed pieces. Pour molds, fire kilns and explore the Safety-Wise checkpoints. This certification course is required for anyone using the kiln facilities at Girl Scouts of West Central Florida camps.

This is a two-day course that begins on 9 a.m. on Saturday and ends at 1 p.m. on Sunday. An overnight stay at camp is not required, but as a convenience lodging is provided for those who choose to stay at camp. Meals are not provided.
