Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s three-year goals serve as the foundation for all activities implemented by the council to deliver the best leadership development and personal growth model for girls ages 5-17.
After a series of strategic meetings between GSWCF board members and key staff, the board approved the three-year goals that provide the council with a set of clear, quantifiable directives into the future.
The goals below illustrate our continuing commitment to all girls, and will successfully drive the Girl Scout Movement in the years ahead. They are interconnected with GSUSA’s Core Business Strategy that focuses on five areas: brand, leadership experience, volunteerism, funding and governance/structure.
Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s 2008-2011 Goals:
Goal #1. Girl Scouts of West Central Florida will assure our diverse girl and adult membership a relevant personal growth and leadership experience.
Goal # 2. Girl Scouts of West Central Florida will increase financial resources by building a diverse funding base.
Goal #3. Girl Scouts of West Central Florida will cultivate a broad base of public and private partners to increase our impact in the community.
Goal #4. Girl Scouts of West Central Florida will be recognized as the experts in personal growth and leadership development for girls.
