Challenge Course Facilitators Needed!

Do you enjoy working with people in an exciting and dynamic environment? If so, do we have a volunteer opportunity for you!

Challenge Course Facilitators work with groups to safely recognize and reach their potential through fun and challenging team-building activities.

Challenge Course Facilitators use initiatives, low course and high course elements to enhance self-confidence, promote positive group dynamics, expand problem-solving abilities and increase levels of communications.

You’re a perfect fit to become a Challenge Course Facilitator if you are interested in challenging yourself and others; enjoy the outdoors; are willing to work and live with others; and want to contribute to Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s fun-loving, open-minded and flexible community. You should also enjoy working with all ages, be responsible and have a sense of humor. Experience is not necessary and training will be provided. You must be at least 18 years old and able to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening.

Interested? Challenge Course Training will be offered at Camp Dorothy Thomas Jan. 4-6 and Jan. 11-13. For more information or if you have any questions, please contact Charlie Waters, High Adventure Program Manager, at (813) 262-1692 or cwaters@gswcf.org.
